Yoshi is a major character in the Mario series. He is a cutsy-looking green Yoshi hailing from Yoshi’s Island. For many years, he has been a loyal friend and ally to Mario and Luigi. Yoshi is known for his friendliness, cheerfulness, large appetite (particularly for fruit), and bravery as he has helped defend the world and rescue captives from the evil Bowser many times.
